Privacy Policy
This page has a separate policy for each game: The Gilded Boy and Sach'a Amaru's Doctrine.
The Gilded Boy
Effective date: October 15, 2026
This policy covers The Gilded Boy (the "Game") by Cananope Softworks ("we"). We do not run accounts or servers for the Game, and we do not collect your name, email, or contact details through it.
Data stored on your device
Your progress, settings, purchases unlocked and high scores (including the leaderboard) are saved only on your device. We never receive them. You can delete them by uninstalling the Game.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The Game shows rewarded ads (that you choose to watch) and interstitial ads using Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share device identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Google's Advertising ID), device and app information, ad interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from your IP address, for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention.
- Consent: We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), ads are personalized only if you consent; otherwise non-personalized ads are shown.
- iOS tracking: On iPhone and iPad, Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks your permission before the IDFA is used. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Changing your choices: Use Privacy Options in the Game's Settings, when shown, to review or withdraw consent.

In-app purchases
Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your payment card or billing details; we only receive confirmation of what was bought so the Game can unlock it.
Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us.
US state privacy rights
Residents of California and other US states may have rights to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. Ad data shared with Google may count as "sharing". To opt out, use Privacy Options in the Game's Settings (the "Do Not Sell or Share" choice) and/or limit ad tracking in your device settings.
EEA/UK rights (GDPR)
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (via Privacy Options), and to complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal bases are consent (personalized ads) and legitimate interests (non-personalized ads, fraud prevention). Since we hold no data about you, most requests are handled through Google; contact us and we will help.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the effective date.

Sach'a Amaru's Doctrine
Effective date: October 23, 2026
This section covers Sach'a Amaru's Doctrine for iPad (the "Game"). The Game is developed and sold by Andres Cabrera, an individual developer ("I", "me"); it is listed on this site alongside other Cananope Softworks games.
Data Not Collected
The Game does not collect any personal or usage data. It has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no in-app purchases and no third-party SDKs. It does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or photos.
Data stored on your device
Your saves, checkpoints, endings found and settings are stored only on your iPad. I never receive them. Deleting the Game removes them.
Apple
Apple handles purchase, download and payment, and may give developers aggregate sales and usage statistics and crash reports from users who chose to share them with developers. This is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. I do not receive your payment details.
Children
The Game is rated 13+ and is not directed to children under 13. Because it collects no data, it does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Since I hold no data about you, there is nothing to access, correct, delete or sell. You can still contact me with any privacy question.
Changes
Any changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
